At 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, the Alcorn State Braves—including former Estrella Foothills High School standout Devin Kriley—were defeated 10-5 by the Mercer Bears in an NCAA Division I baseball contest.
OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field hosted the game, marking the Braves’ second appearance against Mercer this season. In their prior meeting Friday, March 6, the Braves fell 16-4.
During the game, Kriley pitched 2.1 innings, conceding three earned runs while tallying two walks and two strikeouts.
The Braves are set to face the Mercer Bears again Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field.
