Za-Ontay Boothman, a former standout at Buckeye Union High School and now a guard for Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros, is set to play in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The Toros enter the tournament as the No. 5 seed and will face off against the No. 4 seeded Alaska Anchorage Seawolves.
The opening game is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Pioneer Gymnasium.
