Congressman Paul A. Gosar, representing Arizona’s Ninth Congressional District, has announced the opening of registration for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge. This competition is open to middle and high school students residing in the district.

The challenge aims to promote interest in computer science and coding among students. Participants can register for the event and start working on their apps, with a submission deadline set for October 30, 2025.

Initiated by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015, this national contest invites students to create applications for mobile, tablet, or computer devices. Since its start, over 40,000 students from all 50 states have participated.

A panel of expert judges will select a winner from Arizona’s Ninth Congressional District. The winning app will be showcased on CongressionalAppChallenge.us and displayed at the U.S. Capitol for one year alongside other national winners.

For further details or inquiries, individuals are encouraged to visit the official website of the Congressional App Challenge or contact Penny Pew via email at penny.pew@mail.house.gov.
