Michael Carbone, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 25th District since 2023, posted a series of statements on his Twitter account regarding the state budget and government priorities.
On May 1, 2026, Carbone stated, “Government should work for you, not grow over you. We made it leaner and smarter.” Later that day, he added, “We stand behind the people who protect Arizona. This budget proves it.”
The following day, on May 2, 2026, Carbone addressed financial decisions faced by families in Arizona and referenced recent budgetary actions: “Across AZ, families are making tough financial decisions daily. State govt should follow the same principle. The Republican budget delivers real relief (spending $800m less than the Governor’s proposal). It fully funds ed, public safety, & child protection.”
Carbone was elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent District 25 after succeeding Michelle Udall. As a legislator, he has positioned himself as an advocate for reduced government spending and support for public safety initiatives.
