Michael Carbone, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 representing the state’s 25th House District, has used his social media platform to address legislative efforts and local policy debates.
On April 2, 2026, Carbone posted about proposed legislation targeting large technology companies. He wrote, “When a handful of tech companies control info, shape narratives & operate without transparency. HB2991 & SB1747 bring accountability, protect free speech & ensure these platforms don’t operate above the law. AZ will lead where others won’t. Later that day, on April 2, 2026, Carbone criticized local officials for their stance on zoning regulations related to data centers and energy technologies. He stated, “Phoenix politicians falsely branded data centers as dangerous, using unsubstantiated fears about lithium-ion batteries to justify new zoning restrictions. Now they’re recycling the same fear campaign against advanced nuclear and SMRs to obstruct growth and economic opportunity in”.
On April 3, 2026, Carbone encouraged constituents to stay informed by subscribing to his newsletter: “Join my Legislative Update newsletters and never miss a thing! https://t.co/eZAkhbj1pz”.
Carbone replaced Michelle Udall as representative for Arizona’s 25th House District following his election in 2023.
