Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 9th district since 2011, posted a series of tweets in early February 2026 addressing political developments and personal commentary.

On February 2, 2026, Gosar referenced the recurring threat of a government shutdown with a holiday-themed remark: “Happy Groundhog Day! Déjà vu strikes again as Chuck Schumer dusts off yet another government shutdown.”

Two days later, on February 4, he published a brief tweet reading: “I’m A+ https://t.co/IZgVcKa0Zg https://t.co/bFR2rIw4da”.

On February 5, Gosar commented on political transparency and public hearings: “The email-deleting, server-bleaching crowd suddenly loves transparency and public hearings. Amazing. https://t.co/jxFslbUmd6”

Paul Gosar has represented Arizona’s 9th district since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2011 and is currently serving in the U.S. Congress. He was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1958 and resides in Bullhead City. Gosar earned his BS from Creighton University in 1981. In recent elections, he won against Quacy Smith in the 2024 general election with over sixty-five percent of the vote and defeated Richard Grayson by a wide margin in the 2022 general election.
