Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS, a U.S. Congressman from Arizona, posted a series of messages on social media between September 10 and 11, 2025, including a personal reflection and condolences following the death of Charlie Kirk.
On September 10, Gosar shared a Bible verse, posting: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1”.
The following day, he posted a link without additional comment: “https://t.co/0WLTEoqvTY” (September 11).
Later on September 11, Gosar expressed condolences regarding the passing of Charlie Kirk: “Maude and I are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend, Charlie Kirk. Words cannot describe the loss we feel. His voice, conviction, and friendship will be dearly missed. Our heart goes out to his wife, Erika, and their two young children during this unimaginable time.”
Paul Gosar has served multiple terms in Congress representing Arizona’s 9th district. In recent elections, he won re-election in both 2022 and 2024 with significant margins against Richard Grayson and Quacy Smith respectively.
