Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 9th district since 2011, posted several statements on his social media account in early February 2026. The posts addressed both lighthearted and political topics.

On February 9, 2026, Gosar shared a message celebrating the start of the week: “Happy Mineral Monday!! https://t.co/P3cS04h9Wy”.

The following day, on February 10, he criticized Democratic lawmakers regarding potential government shutdown impacts during winter weather conditions: “Democrats R begging 4 a Homeland shutdown. ICE stays funded in OBBB—so what they R actually shuting down R airports & disaster relief in the middle of a winter storm, while showing zero concern 4 the victims of horrific crimes committed by illegals. That chaos is on them.”

Shortly after that post, Gosar added another brief statement: “The list goes on and on. https://t.co/w6hB0oTwdk”

Paul Gosar has represented Arizona’s 9th district in Congress since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2011 and resides in Bullhead City. He was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1958 and earned his BS from Creighton University in 1981. In recent elections, he won re-election against Quacy Smith in 2024 with over sixty-five percent of the vote and defeated Richard Grayson by a wide margin in 2022.
