Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently posted several messages on his social media account reflecting on the loss of a colleague and sharing commentary on healthcare policy.
On January 6, 2026, Gosar expressed condolences over the death of Representative Doug LaMalfa: “Very saddened to learn of the passing of my friend @RepLaMalfa. My thoughts are with his family. I will miss you, Doug. RIP.”
Three days later, on January 9, 2026, he posted a brief message accompanied by a link: “Good Company https://t.co/GDfjBpmHJH”.
Shortly after that post, also on January 9, Gosar commented on federal healthcare policy: “If Obamacare was ‘affordable’ it would not need to be subsidized. https://t.co/0Xahd3PTFW”.
Paul Gosar has maintained his seat in Congress through recent election cycles. In the 2024 general election, he defeated Quacy Smith with approximately 65% of the vote. Two years earlier in 2022, he won re-election against Richard Grayson with nearly 98% of the vote.
