Westmarc hosts forum to discuss economic development

Westmarc held a forum to discuss development opportunities within the region. 

Westmarc is an organization aimed at economic development advocacy for West Valley. Their forum which was held on Feb. 13, discussed opportunities for Class A office in the region. 

Among the parties represented were Avondale, Goodyear and Surprise. Globe Corp., shared what their experiences were through their public-private partnership with Goodyear and Venn Cos., which is working on developing an office in Avondale, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

West Valley has long been in need of additional office development and these initiatives will improve the local economy, according to the Business Journal. 

In addition to these speakers, Paul Komadina of CBRE and Greg Vogel from Land Advisors were at the program. 

The forum was held at CBRE's location in Camelback Esplanade.
