Maricopa County is committed to providing safe, secure and accessible voting options for the upcoming election.

Voters have the option to request a ballot by mail or vote in-person at any open location Wednesday, Oct. 7 to Tuesday, Nov. 3.

“Because of the need for physical distancing and heightened safety protocols, voting locations may have moved, but we are expanding access through a Vote Center model," Scott Jarrett, director of Election Day and Emergency Voting with Maricopa County Elections Department, said in a release. "Voters may now choose from any voting location, rather than just one assigned location. These large locations will also be able to check in more voters at a time, and are located across the county, including on tribal land and in rural areas to ensure in-person voting continues to be an option for all communities.”

Nearly 78% of all 2.5 million registered voters have already requested a ballot in the mail. Ballots can be returned by mail through Tuesday, Oct. 27 or taken to any Vote Center or secure ballot drop box by 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.

New this year, drive-thru drop boxes will be available at all county sport stadiums. Voters just have to bring their signed, sealed green affidavit envelopes. Drive-thru locations will be open Saturday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 31 through Tuesday, Nov. 3. Locations can be found here.
