Belen Soto Elementary School issued the following announcement on Sept. 29
Desert Financial Credit Union and Laptops4Learning jumped into action when they heard we had students who needed devices to excel at school and in life.
Thank you to Desert Financial Credit Union and Laptops4Learning for generously donating 100 ChromeBooks and laptops to students at Barbara B. Robey Elementary School and L. Thomas Heck Middle School.
Staff and students showed their gratitude with a Device Distribution Parade where Pavilion of Praise Christian Church hosted donuts and decor.
Special thanks to Jaime Lyn Gonzales of the Ignite Yoga Foundation for introducing us to this outstanding opportunity.
