SVUSD is looking for excited, qualified substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals!!
You can choose your own work schedule!
You decide when you work!
If you prefer to work once a week, a few times a month, or even every day—no problem. You input your availability in our absence reporting system, and we respond. We'd like for you to work as often as possible but the flexible schedule is one of the perks of the position.
You decide where you work!
SVUSD has one high school, one middle school, and six elementary schools that all need your special skillset. However, where you work is your choice!
You decide the type of work!
The District has an automated substitute scheduling system which is used in scheduling Substitute Employees. Think of our absence reporting system as a buffet: You see all the open assignments and you decide which one fits you the best!
Certified (Teacher) Salary is $125.00 for daily subs
$175.00 for long term (over 4 weeks)
Paraprofessionals: $12.15 per hour
