Festival Foothills Elementary issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
We want to thank the Sun City Festival Veterans Club for coming to our campus to retire our old flag and present us with a new one. We also want to thank Officer Lahey, our district's resource officer from Wickenburg, for sharing the 911 Memorial Flag with us.
Each school in the district had the opportunity to fly the 911 Memorial Flag on their campus. We also are proud of our students that participated in our flag raising ceremony!
