Get started early on Cinco De Mayo celebrations! Avondale’s popular street festival -- Avondale Fiesta -- takes place on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Old Town Avondale.

Avondale Fiesta is a free outdoor event that showcases culture, cuisine, and entertainment. The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. on Western Avenue (495 E. Western Ave. Avondale, AZ 85323).  Western Avenue has been a long-time gathering spot for street festivals and parades hosted in Avondale since its incorporation in 1946. The city continues this tradition by hosting the Fiesta in the historic core of the city. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. It’s fun for date night or a night out for the entire family!

Dine on Mexican food provided by local vendors, or at the many local restaurants in Old Town Avondale. Sit and relax at the Cantina benefitting Ballet Folklorico Esperanza, and enjoy the sights and sounds of live entertainment, crafts, activities, and new this year, Axe Throwing! (In order to participate in Axe Throwing must be 9+ years of age, wear close toed shoes and sign a waiver).

This year’s mainstage emcee will bring the fun with the full lineup of entertainment, including Aztec dancers, Mariachi Mexico, Ballet Folklorico Esperanza, and more. Don’t forget to check out Mexican wrestling brought to you by Lucha Libre En Vivo.

Avondale Fiesta is an official City of Avondale event. Presenting Sponsor Avondale Toyota will welcome the first 300 attendees with a giveaway. Partners supporting the event are Whataburger, Crescent Crown Distributing, and West Valley View.
