Community Funding Applications are Now Open

Event

Nonprofits across the Valley are providing critical services to Goodyear residents, and that’s why each year the city steps up to support them. The city of Goodyear offers nonprofits an opportunity to apply for a grant as part of the city’s Community Funding Program Last year, 27 recipients, including Lutheran Social Services, Phoenix Rescue Mission, Southwest Lending Closet and Arizona's Children Association, received a combined $160,200.

The application process to be considered for a grant this year is now open. Applications are due Sunday, May 15. The grants will be awarded in July for an estimated total of more than $214,000. For more information on how to apply, visit goodyearaz.gov/communityfunding or email communityfunding@goodyearaz.gov.
