Video games, phones, tablets, computers, televisions… there are a lot of electronics capturing the attention of kids these days. Kids are spending up to nine hours a day in front of a screen, according to the CDC. To encourage residents of all ages to drop the devices and enjoy an activity outside, the city of Goodyear is hosting free activities on May 21 at the Goodyear Recreation Campus, including waving access fees to the aquatic center.

8-10 a.m.
Park Activities: Obstacle course, lawn games, flavored ice popsicles, vendor booths, giveaways and more!
10-11 a.m.
Pool Activities: access to the play pool, lazy river, slides and leisure pool
