Buckeye police began receiving reports just before 7 a.m. Saturday morning that a small plane had crashed near the Buckeye Municipal Airport. Investigators learned two people were on board the aircraft when it went down. One male, 56-year-old Daniel Keen, died at the scene. A second male, 32-year-old Emmanuel Flores, was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries. Next of kin have been notified.
The NTSB and FAA are investigating.
