There were 31 Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander students enrolled in Avondale Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 40.9% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Avondale Elementary District welcomed 5,889 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander students comprised 0.5% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Each of the nine schools in Avondale Elementary District enrolled less than 10 Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander students in 2022-23 school year.

In 2022 Arizona had roughly one teacher for every 19 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for 16 students. Teachers handling a higher number of students was found to have negative consequences for students’ school performance.
