At 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, the Utah Tech Trailblazers—with former Millennium High School standout David Sheppard on the roster—posted an 11-5 victory over the Northern Colorado Bears in NCAA Division I baseball.
The matchup, held at Bruce Hurst Field, marked their third game against the Bears this season. In a previous contest, also on Saturday, Feb. 28, the Trailblazers won 6-5.
Sheppard pitched four innings, allowing two earned runs, issuing two walks and collecting four strikeouts.
Utah Tech is set to face the Northern Colorado Bears again at Bruce Hurst Field Sunday, March 1, at 12:05 p.m.
