Utah Tech, with former Millennium standout David Sheppard, falls short in NCAA Division I game

On Friday, March 6, at 6:05 p.m., Utah Tech Trailblazers, featuring former Millennium High School standout David Sheppard, were defeated 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball contest against the Austin Peay Governors.

Bruce Hurst Field served as the setting for the game, marking the teams’ third meeting this season. In their last contest on Friday, March 6, the Trailblazers were defeated 10-5 by the Governors.

Sheppard pitched 2.1 innings, allowing one earned run and issuing two walks.

Utah Tech will face the Austin Peay Governors again at Bruce Hurst Field on Saturday, March 7, with first pitch set for 2:05 p.m.
