Desert Hills Baptist Church issued the following announcement on March 26
Dear Desert Hills Family,
Our world has been turned on its ear with the advent of CV-19. Schedules have changed, uncertainty is in the air, and everyone is feeling anxious as we have been cloistered in our homes. The feelings and the confusion many are facing is real. We understand what people are dealing with and we are here for you. We want to continue to do our best to be accessible to encourage you, pray for you, and minister to you. We will be keeping the church office open (M-Th 8am-2pm)for the foreseeable future and we are accessible after hours via email, and through our phone system. We are also scheduling personal discipleship and mentoring next week through Google Duo or FaceTime. Please let us know if you have any needs we can minister to and pray for. Also, we would be delighted to set up a virtual meeting to encourage or help you along on your Christian journey.
We have prayerfully decided to make changes to our to our service schedule for the next couple of weeks. As much as we want to gather together publicly we want to make sure we are not unnecessarily putting people at risk in doing so. We are trying to limit any personal contact we have or our people have with potentially infected individuals.
Schedule for the next few weeks:
March 29- This week we have services that will broadcast solely online from our website: www.deserthills.church or on Facebook Live on our FB page @8:45am and 10:30am.
April 5-Palm Sunday –“DRIVE UP CHURCH”-We are doing two services on the property and encouraging people to join us in the parking lot as people will be encouraged to park their cars and remain inside or bring a lawn chair to sit in the parking lot. These services will take place @8:45am & 10:30am. Services will also be available online.
April 12-EASTER SUNDAY –“DRIVE UP CHURCH”-We are doing three services on the property and encouraging people to join us again in the parking lot as people will be encouraged to park their cars and remain inside or bring a lawn chair to sit in the parking lot. These services will take place @7:00am, 8:45am, 10:30am. Services will also be available online.
April 19- “DRIVE UP CHURCH”-We are doing two services on the property and encouraging people to join us in the parking lot as people will be encouraged to park their cars and remain inside or bring a lawn chair to sit in the parking lot. These services will take place @8:45am & 10:30am. Services will also be available online.

Several individuals have asked how to continue to give to the church during this time. The three easiest ways to do this is to give online by going to www.deserthills.church/give and then click on the give button. This will take you to a secure third party site that is connected to our church to worship the Lord through giving. The second way is to mail a check or cash to Desert Hills Baptist Church; 20909 W. Yuma Rd.; Buckeye, AZ; 85396. The last way is to use your smart phone to go to your app store to download the "tithe.ly church app". When you do-link to Desert Hills Baptist Church of Buckeye and the app will allow you to give directly to the church and also have access to our prayer page, upcoming events, sermon notes, previous sermons, and many other vital resources.
