Gila County Animal Care & Control reminds pet owners to keep dogs and cats up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and other preventative care. Mark your calendar for these veterinary mobile clinic dates in Tonto Basin, Payson and Pine.

SURGERY must be scheduled ahead of time; call 928-235-7385

Tonto Basin, Pine and Payson pet owners: Happy Tails Mobile Vet helps four-legged patients with a wide range of services at reasonable prices.

PATIENT ARRIVAL POLICY: for your protection and ours, all dogs must be leashed and properly controlled during their visit. All cats must be in a carrier or on a leash. Surgeries take place in the morning. Drop-off for surgery is during the 30 minutes after opening. Surgeries must be scheduled ahead of time. You do not have a surgery appointment until you've heard from us

All other patients are seen between 12:30pm and 4:30PM as walk-ins.

Pine/Strawberry , Fridays from 7:30am - 4:30pm at the Ponderosa Market

Tonto Basin, Thursdays from 8:00 am - 4:30pm at the IGA Market

Payson on Wednesdays

Annual exams, Sick pet exams, Vaccinations, Microchipping and medication prescriptions

Surgeries include spay/neuter, growth removals, wound repair, dental cleanings & extractions, bladder stone removal.

Lab work, too: complete blood counts, metabolic panels, heartworm tests, fecal exams, urinalysis and cytology.
