The City of Avondale is hosting a free document shred event on Thursday, April 13 from 9-11 a.m. outside of Avondale City Hall (11465 W Civic Center Drive). Residents are invited to bring up to five boxes of documents to be shredded free of charge.
“We are committed to helping our residents protect their personal information and prevent identity theft,” said Margaret Carey, Avondale Deputy City Clerk . “This event provides an easy and secure way for residents to dispose of confidential documents.”
The City is partnering with a professional document destruction company that will securely shred all documents brought in by residents. The shredded paper will be recycled responsibly.
