On 2.6.2023 at approximately 1200 hits the CCSOSAR team was activated for a rescue in the are of Kartchner Caverns / Forest Service area. A 74 year old female took a fall and sustained injuries during the fall requiring our assistance. Scott R74 and Deuce R24 were first on scene and tended to the injured. The remainder of the team transported the stokes and packaging material (blankets and such) to the patient. Stokes team, Miles S43, Dave R52, Jasmin R38, David CSAR98 and Ursula C74. Also responded up the trail later was Jim S94 and Katherine R77.
She was then secured in the stokes and transported to her waiting friends and family, who transported her to the hospital for further treatment. Her companions went ahead of the stokes team and were accompanied by two SAR members.
