Larry Rooney was officially sworn in as Fire Chief of Avondale Fire & Medical Department at tonight's City Council meeting.
With four decades of experience in the fire service, Chief Rooney brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his new role.
He is also a graduate of the Executive Fire Officer Program from the National Fire Academy and was inducted into the Arizona Fire Service Hall of Fame in 2021.
