Raúl M. Grijalva, a long-serving U.S. Congressman representing Arizona's 7th District, has recently expressed his concerns on social media regarding the actions of former President Donald Trump and their implications for various communities in the United States. Grijalva, who has been an active political figure since his tenure with the Pima County Board of Supervisors starting in 1989, shared his views through a series of tweets.

On January 21, 2025, Grijalva commented on Trump's early actions during his term: "Barely 24 hours into his term, Trump has managed to effectively reverse decades of progress including removing protections for the LGBTQIA+ community, villainizing immigrants, attempting to circumvent the US Constitution and Congress to implement his immigration policies..."

In another tweet dated January 23, 2025, Grijalva criticized recent executive orders: "These executive orders are not solutions—they harm families, workers, and our economy. The @HispanicCaucus is committed to building an economy that works for everyone, not chaos caused by political stunts."

On the same day, he highlighted a statement from U.S. District Judge John Coughenour regarding a particular order: "This is a blatantly unconstitutional order." — U.S. District Judge John Coughenour
