Shawnna LM Bolick, an active user on social media, has expressed her views on housing regulations and affordability through her recent tweets. Her positions are focused on reducing red tape and governmental influence in real estate matters.
In a tweet posted on April 7, 2025, Bolick criticized a realtor’s stance against reducing regulation to build smaller homes. She mentioned, "Another realtor against reducing red tape to build a smaller home. Either she is in bed with the municipal bureaucrats or prefers larger commissions when selling larger homes. The average age of a new homebuyer is 38 years old. The average price of a home in the Phoenix".
Additionally, Bolick voiced her support for individual property rights in another post on the same day, stating, "I support individual private property rights, not some municipal bureaucrat telling me what type of roof or light fixture my house should have."
Later that day, Bolick mentioned former President Donald Trump’s views on housing, writing that "Trump believes in making housing affordable again. He too wants to reduce the red tape and government overreach."
